Austin City Limits Music Festival Weekend 2 @ Zilker Park
One of the country’s largest celebrations of music, this six-day festival brings the magic of the famed public TV series Austin City Limits outside the studio and into Austin’s most beloved park with more than 140 musical acts on eight stages over two weekends.

Hill Country Galleria Saturday Night Concert Series
Austin born and raised, Edison Chair, combines ‘60’s instrumentation with modern pop vocal sensibilities. This unique fusion of vintage warmth and cutting female-led edginess ensures killer lives shows and enthralling recorded tracks. 7 p.m. in the Central Plaza. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy this free event with family and friends. Kanani Kawaiolamanaloa, owner of Kimboli St. James Designs, has been designing apparel ever since she was a young child. Currently, she has over 37 clothing lines. Originally based in Hawaii and California, her clothing has been featured in Palm Springs and the Southwest Santa Fe fashion events. The nation’s most barked about community, BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog), is hosting the BIGGEST (and spookiest) Howl-o-ween pawty on Saturday, October 20th at 2PM at Lustre Pearl East! BYOD is a membership community that connects dog-lovers to their city’s best dog-friendly deals, events, and recreational activities – and you’re invited to take part in their grand bark into Austin! Canine and human guests are encouraged to enjoy witch’s booze and ghoulicious treats while mingling with celebrity dogs in Lustre Pearl’s dreadfully fun atmosphere. Between the mouth-watering pupkin treats, delectable ear candy (music hits), costume contest, and raffle prizes, this pawty is going to be a doggone good time! Austin Margarita Festival 2018
This year, the Austin Margarita Festival will grace the downtown area, just across the Congress Avenue Bridge, on the Austin American-Statesman’s riverside property. The 21+, one-day event is a reflection of Austin’s plethora of eclectic styles and artistry, only this diversity shows through in the 20+ Margarita Flavors, including the Bourbon St. Hurricane, Grapefruit Groupie and Jalapeno Pepper. Served frozen or on the rocks, the endless choice of mouthwatering margaritas can be enjoyed against the backdrop of Austin’s beautiful skyline. Adding to the cool vibe of this Margarita Mecca, you can sip to the sounds of live bands and DJs, and to the complement of great food! You’ve heard the tagline, “Keep Austin Weird”. Well, Austinites, on October 20th, 2018, you’ll hear a new adage – “Keep the margaritas flowin’ and the good times goin’! Viva La Vida Festival & Parade in Downtown Austin
Hosted by the Mexic-Arte Museum, Viva La Vida is Austin’s largest and longest-running Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) festival, and one of the few in the country with a parade.The festival features a Grand Procession, hands-on art activities and artist demos, and a celebration with traditional foods, local artist and retail booths, a low-rider exhibition, live music and performances throughout the day.

Fable Fest – Cedar Park

The Kings Carnival where kids of all ages can play games, win prizes, make arts and crafts, face painting, costume contest and enjoy inflatables, a petting zoo, train and pony rides (some attractions may require tickets purchased at event); The Cobblestone Market provides the opportunity to shop with a variety of area merchants; The Pig’s Pub will provide an opportunity to eat your fill from food trucks of all kinds; The Troubadour’s Court will feature live music, drama and dance performances; and The Royal Academy is home to Live Jousting demonstrations.
