Austin’s Birthday Bash
Saturday, August 4

Join us to celebrate the grand re-opening of Republic Square with a FREE all-day, family-friendly celebration!

On August 1, 1839, Austin’s first plots of land were auctioned off under what we now call the Auction Oaks in present-day Republic Square. This year, to celebrate, we are throwing a party! Join us to celebrate the past, present, and future of our great city.

Hot Air Balloon Festival
Friday August 31, Sept 1 and Sept 2

Join us Labor Day Weekend, August 31 to September 2, 2018, for the premiere hot air balloon festival in central Texas! Over 25 hot air balloons will illuminate the sky on Friday and Saturday evenings and will float over the Kyle sky Saturday and Sunday mornings. (All events are weather permitting.)

Pie festivities will include a Pie Cafe tent, pie baking contest, pie eating contest, pie vendors (sweet and savory), and more will solidify our claim to fame as the “Pie Capital of Texas.” You’ll also be able to enjoy a kid zone, vendors, live music, and other entertainment to make this festival weekend complete.
